WEEKEND PROGRAMS FOR KIDS - BIRTH THROUGH 6TH GRADE
The Early Childhood Ministries of Grace Church exist to provide age-appropriate small groups where even the youngest of children will be introduced to the concept that Jesus loves them. We strive to create an environment where they feel safe, secure, and loved and can begin at the earliest stages of faith to equate these feelings with a loving, caring God and his Church.
By the time a child is five years old, we want them to know:
God Made Me - “For you created my inmost being; you knit me together in my mother’s womb. I praise you because I am fearfully and wonderfully made; your works are wonderful, I know that full well. ”Psalm 139:13-14
God Loves Me - “For I am convinced that neither death nor life, neither angels nor demons, neither the present nor the future, nor any powers, neither height nor depth, nor anything else in all creation, will be able to separate us from the love of God that is in Christ Jesus our Lord.” Romans 8:38-39
Jesus Wants To Be My Friend Forever - “For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have everlasting life. John 3:16
3 Basic Truths - for our Elementary Grace Kidz
“Jesus grew in wisdom and stature, and in favor with God and men” (Luke 2:52, NIV).
So we want every kid to know and understand these three things:
- I need to make the wise choice (wisdom)
- I can trust God no matter what (faith)
- I should treat others the way I want to be treated (friendship)
We use a special curriculum called "252 Basics" in order to help teach your child these valuable, Biblically-based lessons in a fun and creative way. All 252 Basics lessons focus on at least one of the three basic concept areas from this verse (wisdom, faith, and friendship) in addition to “traditional” concept areas (like God, Jesus, the Bible, the church, family, community, and self).

A lot of Grace Kidz this year won't be here next year. Before you know it, they will simply move on to what's next. The chance to impact their present and shape their future will be gone. That's why every phase in a kid's life is more important than most of us realize. Every phase has unique characteristics to understand, distinctive opportunities to leverage, and significant relationships to influence. Our job is to help YOU become more present in the lives of kidz during critical life stages.
A lot can happen in a kid's life over the next 52 weeks. Someone will...
Take a first step
Flush a valuable item
Color the walls
Lose the training wheels
Outgrow the kid's menu
Start wearing deodorant
Get a driver's license
Graduate high school
THESE MOMENTS ONLY HAPPEN ONCE.
